The last piece to complete a nice bedroom suite for a dear friend - had quite a bit of shoring up to do first! Of course, some gluing and fastening first and a nice bleach bath to kill any icky stuff.

After filling and sanding a bit, next goes the first coat of primer (I usually use at least 2, to prevent bleed through of old stains, etc)

Now, the fun stuff! Paint and stencil. I chose a fancy scroll with a bee and crown for the drawer sides, in a sparkly glass bead paste. On this particular dresser, I could not paint the sides and do a stencil as the fit was pretty tight, so I went with just a stencil over the wood, sealed with polyurethane.
