Old Desk Made New

My husband is a very patient man and he understands I just want to save everything, so he told me, as we were going to be moving shortly, do not buy any more furniture for a bit. OK, no buying any furniture - got it! Well, the lady at the yard sale said it was free - so that's not buying, right? Anyhoo - I hauled it up the drive way on a dolly with a flat tire (how's that for dedication) and this is what he saw when he arrived home.

I quickly told him - it was free! For some reason, he was not surprised. I worked on the warp, added new hardware and it is actually his desk now and we both love it!
