Two From One

I was given several pieces of very nice but worn furniture. This particular dresser was missing a drawer - better throw it away, right? (The picture below is from the same set, to show the condition before)

WRONG!

We cut the dresser into two pieces, right under the missing dresser space. I made a template from the top, to create a new top for the newly made short dresser. Painted a clean white, with new hardware, beautiful and useful again!

The top portion of the original dresser became a small dresser/bench, with a shoe rack underneath, where the drawer would have been. Also painted a clean white with new hardware, ready for a new life!
